Waking up in Ljubljana

I woke up in the morning...I didn't feel like getting up, so I stayed in bed for a while. You were still sleeping. To see your face in the morning is the best thing in the world. You seemd so peaceful. Your hair was ruffled, but still I could see what it looks like after it's combed. A flock of hair was on your cheeks and another on your nose. It was just in the right position, so it wasn't interrupting your sleep. Judging from the position of you lips, in a gentle curve of a smile, you were having nice dreams. I wondered what were you dreaming about...Were you on that vacation, which we're planning on taking? Did you get a new car? Were we making love? Or were you making love? Did you get those sunglasses? I was trying to guess what were you dreaming about for a few more minitues, when the phone rang. I picked it up with my eyes closed, told my mum I'm fine and hurried back to what I was doing before. You changed your position in the meantime and now I was looking at your back. I like your back, so I was glad. I started counting your birthmarks...I almost know the exact position of every single one. I wanted to wake you up, but I couldn't. I miss you.
"It's better if I stopped daydreaming and opend my eyes." So I did...The room was empty and through the curtains sunbeams were creeping into the room. It seemed so empty, so unreal. It was my room but it wasn't. There was something missing. I had the feeling like I was in another dimension. Your desk was cleared and on your side of the bed was a pillow, which I was holding. The phone rang again and i picked up hoping it was you. I hate morning without you.
See you soon.
